Beach Scum

from The Crab Tape by The Alley Crabs

/

lyrics

[Verse]
I was so used to having things go my way
Of course, I kept it up and you wouldn't stay
Thoughts of having you leave, would't get the light of day
But so what, It happened anyway
And I find it hard to say
That you win
And I Lose

(Chorus)

I don't want to be a scum anymore,
I'd rather abandon ship than fight anymore
A scumbag's tune and a band of four, singing
I don't want to be a scum anymore
But so what, I am anyway
AND its much easier to say
That I'm the one whose right and your the one who is wrong! Woo

(Instrumental)

I try to address you
but theres a demon always stopping me
Can't fight the feeling that ending you would fulfill my lust and need
Why cant I choose to just let go
of the old me, could it be
that the past is a part of me
And I would't dare to say
That it happened easily

(Chorus2)

I don't wanna be a scum anymore
Abandon ship and fight anymore
A scumbag's tune and a band of four
Singing, I don't want to be a scum anymore

[Outro-Fat Riff] :)

The heroes formed a band and named it The Alley Crabs, after an STD their former rhythm guitarist picked up in Reno.
